To me, photography is more than just a hobby. It's a great medium for artistic expression—for expressing yourself and showing other people how you see the world—and what matters to you. It serves as a container for memories, as much as it is a canvas for your mind. Combining it with vivid and meaningful captions compliments this project beautifully, and is the perfect blend of my creative outlets into one.

Esque (as in the last syllable of "Picturesque") is my personal photography archive, full of photos I've captured and crafted throughout the years (and will continue to do so). I consider each of my photographs to be a tiny piece of a puzzle that represent what makes me me and what I love.

My love for photography was sparked on a multitude of occasions throughout life: On vacations, with friends, when reaching milestones. I try to see beauty in a lot of things the world has to offer. Whether they're unique human expressions, nature's compositions in any given landscape, or the harmonies within the lively streets of our very cities. Each photographs is—in its own way—neither perfect nor imperfect. I don't think its purpose is to be perfect in exposure, composition, focus, or any of the other technical possibilities modern photography offers; its purpose is to be an emotionally charged memory that transcends beyond the time, place, and the photographer's view it was captured in.

Everybody's emotional reaction to my work will differ, and I dearly hope some shared pieces of my personal photo library will resonate with you just nearly as much as they do with me.
Thank you for reading! Enjoy scrolling and viewing my work.
